On April 19, the offline phase of the 139th Canton Fair (Phase I) came to a successful close. Under the theme of "Advanced Manufacturing", this phase attracted 167,000 overseas buyers from 216 countries and regions, with over 32,000 exhibitors – setting new records. Compared with previous sessions, a noticeable change at this Canton Fair was the significantly reduced number of buyers from the Middle East. According to statistics, China's exports to the Middle East and North Africa region dropped sharply in March this year, and shipping restrictions in the Strait of Hormuz have substantially affected cross-border business exchanges. Meanwhile, many foreign trade companies from Wenzhou, Foshan and other cities reported a clear decrease in customers from the UAE and Saudi Arabia – "buyers from the Middle East are particularly few" became a common sentiment at the Fair.

At this Canton Fair, our booth was located at 10.3J28 – clean, professional and well‑arranged. What really drew crowds were two newly developed star products: the flagpole light and the watermelon light.
The flagpole light is a key new product launched this year, designed for heavy‑duty vehicles such as trucks, off‑road vehicles and construction machinery. With its tall, straight shape resembling a flag flying in the wind, it serves both as a decorative vehicle light and a high‑brightness auxiliary lighting solution. Made of high‑strength aluminum alloy housing and rated IP67 waterproof, it can withstand heavy rain, mud, dust and other harsh conditions. Before the Fair, it passed a series of rigorous durability tests, and many buyers at the booth proactively asked for technical specifications and samples.
The watermelon light is another carefully developed "star product". Inspired by the classic pattern of a watermelon, its unique and innovative design makes it highly recognizable among countless vehicle lights. This light integrates multiple functions – running light, turn signal, brake light and reverse light – in one unit. It features 65 high‑brightness LED beads, 7 output wires supporting various function combinations, and an IP65 waterproof rating, making it suitable for trucks, trailers, RVs and more. During the exhibition, the watermelon light became a "photo spot" thanks to its appealing appearance and solid performance. Many buyers stopped by, repeatedly tested brightness and waterproof performance, and expressed cooperation intentions on the spot.
New customers from Peru, India and South Africa signed; orders secured from three continents
At this Canton Fair, Pingxiang Bowang successfully reached cooperation agreements with three new customers from Peru, India and South Africa – achieving breakthroughs in three emerging markets across South America, South Asia and Africa.
Customer from Peru: An auto parts importer from Peru visited our booth specifically for the flagpole light and watermelon light. After in‑depth discussion and on‑site testing, they confirmed a purchase intention and plan to introduce the flagpole light as a trial product for the local truck modification market.
Customer from India: As one of the fastest‑growing automotive markets in the world, India has a rising demand for high‑quality vehicle lights. A wholesaler from New Delhi showed strong recognition of our DOT‑certified LED light series after a detailed review of our product range. Both sides reached an agreement on specifications, packaging and delivery for the first sample order.
Customer from South Africa: A South African buyer specializing in commercial vehicle accessories has very strict requirements for waterproof performance. After testing the waterproof rating and brightness of our watermelon light at the booth, they repeatedly praised that "this is exactly the product we are looking for". A preliminary purchase意向 (letter of intent) was signed on the spot.
